We accept most health insurance plans and are here to help you get covered.
At Betances Health Center, we screen patients for eligibility and assist with enrollment into New York State’s affordable health insurance programs, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan (Medicaid Plus), and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs).
- Our on-site Facilitated Enrollers/Navigators are trained to:
- Help you apply for public health insurance (Medicaid and Child Health Plus)
- Compare and enroll in affordable private plans (Qualified Health Plans)
- Determine your eligibility quickly and confidentially
Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Chinese, and all enrollment services are completely free.

Betances offers a Sliding Fee Discount for:
Those who qualify for any portion of payment you are responsible for. You must apply for the discount and provide the necessary documentation to see if you qualify.
