Physician - Family Practitioner

| Job Description |
Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Physician
will receive supervision from the Associate Medical Director and be responsible
for: |
| Tasks |
- Provide direct patient care to Betances patients.
- Supervise the work of the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
assigned to his/her practice. Collaborate and provide supervision with
other physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical
Assistants and students as assigned by Associate Medical Director/Medical
Director.
- Adhere to documentation and quality standards set by New York State
and any other standards implemented by the Associate Medical Director/Medical
Director.
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with back-up hospital and its professionals.
Ultimately, have admitting privileges at that institution.
- Timely completion of charts, patient care forms and billing encounters.
- Special Projects to be determined by the Associate Medical Director/Medical
Director.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

| Qualifications |
- Must be NYS Licensed Physician MD or DO and in good standing with
all regulatory agencies with 2+ years of experience.
- Must be Board Certified and in good standing with their Board Certified
Academy.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational,
and leadership skills.
- Must be assertive, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Bilingual (Spanish or Chinese) a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, supervise, train and work respectfully
and effectively with a culturally diverse clinic staff.
